Passionate about interesting spirits, he currently works as president of Michter’s Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky as well as president of its Manhattan-based parent company Chatham Imports. Among the accolades and reviews garnered by Michter’s whiskeys are “Best American Whiskey” (Food & Wine Magazine), “Phenomenal” (The Wall Street Journal), “Best of the Best” (Robb Report), and “Spectacular” (Robert Parker, Founder & Publisher of The Wine Advocate). He lives in Manhattan with his wife Allison and his dog Lucia.

Central Park Reservoir
Jogging or walking around the path encircling the Central Park Reservoir is a unique experience. I love the juxtaposition of the natural green glory of the park against some of the city’s most majestic architecture.

Canine Styles
After a morning walk, my dog, Lucia, deserves a visit to her favorite store, Canine Styles. They have great squeaky toys, and rumor has it that they have a tailor ready to alter the clothing you purchase there for your pooch.

The Frick Collection
I love to go to the city’s smaller, interesting museums like The Frick Collection. You can see some great art here in the classic mansion industrialist Henry Frick first built during World War I.

H&H Bagels
When I bite into a warm H&H bagel with its chewy texture, it is a transcendental experience for me. Everything here is absolutely delicious.

Brooklyn Academy of Music
Some of the best performances I have ever seen are at BAM. I always enjoy my journey to the incredibly vibrant borough of Brooklyn to see remarkable theater, film, music and dance at BAM.
